Dr. David Loveless

Dr. David Loveless is a Birmingham, Alabama native and a graduate of Briarwood Christian High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, Summa Cum Laude, from Auburn University before completing his dental degree at the UAB School of Dentistry. His passion for dentistry was shaped early by a desire to combine science, artistry, and genuine connection with people, and that passion continues to guide every patient interaction at our Montgomery practice.

Following dental school, Dr. Loveless completed a one-year post-graduate residency at Foundry Dental Center in Bessemer, AL, where he received advanced training in general dentistry, dental surgery, dental implant placement, and IV sedation. This residency gave him hands-on experience with complex cases that most general dentists refer out, allowing him to bring a wider range of care directly to you. He now succeeds Dr. Ronald Barganier, who built our practice over more than 35 years of trusted service in the Montgomery community.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Loveless has placed 900+ dental implants (permanent tooth replacements), including full-arch restorations performed in-house with IV sedation for patient comfort. His clinical focus blends advanced restorative procedures, cosmetic dentistry, and compassionate everyday care, always tailored to your goals and comfort level. Patients appreciate the way he takes time to explain options clearly, answer questions, and design treatment plans that respect both your health and your schedule.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Loveless enjoys golf, hunting, and spending time at the beach and lake with his family. He is married to Sarah Epperson and is an active member of First Baptist Church Montgomery, where his faith and family values shape the way he serves his community.
